Why multiple redundant zero-content posts?

Because people have posted courses here before and been wildly upvoted.

I'd rather not see two posts for this myself, but let's not pretend that advertisements for courses haven't been upvoted before.

the content is the link itself and because AFAIK they

  • are related to rationality
  • are different classes so if participants want to discuss they have their own topic
  • have never been posted here

This isn't Reddit; posts generally should be more than just a link and a quote.

I agree that this isn't Reddit, but I'm okay with just a link if it's to a useful rationality related source.

I agree and to be sincere when I posted it I wondered if the format was appropriate but I concluded that the content was and that is what matter.

PS: thanks, I just discovered http://www.reddit.com/r/lesswrong btw :)

Commented on this here. Not yet sure it deserves its own discussion post.

I hope someone here will review the "A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior" class. It would be neat to know if it is worth our time.
