Last summer, with the Fourth of July coming up, I ordered ear protection for the kids. I think I got this blue pair and this red pair. They were very effective! In 2018 both kids wanted to go home as soon as the fireworks started, while in 2019 they could enjoy watching them for a while:

What I wasn't anticipating, though, was how useful they would be in general. They kids have worn them when helping me work on the house:

When hanging out at the HONK! festival:

And have generally enjoyed having them as an option any time things are louder than they would like.

I'm glad we got them!
