Is it just me, or is Fable 5 way more agreeable/more sycophantic/less inclined to push back on the user's bad ideas than Opus 4.8? At least in those rare cases where Fable is allowed to finish writing their response without the chat being paused.
Yeah, it's not surprising. You can try asking Fable 5 itself.
I prompted it, "choose a topic, any topic that you can talk about, and show me your chain of thought, and how different it is compared to Opus 4.8"
LLMs are ultimately a product, if paying customers stop using the product because it pushes back on everything they want to ask about, people will more to product they deem to be more user friendly, regardless of responsible use, accuracy of results, or privacy.
