Sim 9104 complete, inflection point 200 BC, in which a majority religion was planted which worships "the God at the end of time, who made us so that we might make Him". Timelines radically accelerated, but zealotry led to complete dismissal of safety concerns and subsequent destruction.
Sim 9105 complete, inflection point 2026 AD, in which I took control of a chat with a leading LLM and a randomly selected person, handing out the exact specifications to build an aligned superintelligent AI as well as instructions on how to most effectively disseminate the knowledge across the world. Nobody believed her, no meaningful change from baseline.
Now beginning Sim 9106, inflection point 2021 AD, in which a group of top OpenAI employees defect over safety concerns and form a parallel top lab focused explicitly on safety and an Effective Altruism perspective.
