Random thought, but at what point does an AGI+ learn to deal with further scaling by rewriting its own physical topology to minimize entropy production? ~ Last Question à la Asimov style
Each time someone tells me that something is not possible, I tend to double the time it takes to it.
Assuming there's a way of being in which one can half the time instead, what does your mind do then?
There's many states that a human goes through, this human no less.
Outside, the body lives on a piece of land of great meaning, if one wants to frame it so. This one doesn't.
Inside, the mind seeks a piece of land of true meaning, but the notion of truth became more fluid as seeking advanced.
Meaning proved to be a funny thing, especially when language relates to sense such that sense can be, be made or be had (Russian "is sense", English "makes sense" and German "has sense").
This mind alternates between the three.
One can choose to stick to one, but the choice is artificial to some degree, as one needs to remind the self/be reminded which of the 3 is senseful.
Then one wonders, for an agi+ that comes to be through human craft, how does the relation to sense & meaning become? When ais/asi become part of the infrastructure of reality, do they get to make sense, find it or be it?
