tldr: To celebrate our 40th anniversary, Foresight Institute is launching two AI Nodes in Berlin & the Bay Area - providing funding, office space, community and compute to open AI for science & safety projects.
 

We care about a future in which AI accelerates scientific progress without locking in centralized power structures or risking existential safety.

To that end, we're supporting projects working on:

• AI for Security

• Private AI

• Decentralized & Cooperative AI

• AI for Science & Epistemics

• AI for Neuro, BCIs, WBE

• AI for Longevity

• AI for Molecular Nanotechnology

We provide:

• Grant funding

• Free access to our nodes in Berlin & the Bay, including office, community hub and events

• Local compute for selected projects

The first application round closes on December 31, followed by monthly deadlines until the nodes are at capacity:
