much of the market-theoretical gains by modern humans gaining more optionality because they explored sexuality more (think LGBTQ, casual sex, poly, BDSM) is undone by dating apps which is quite frustrating.
Former moral-view-ambivalent under-desired people may be incorrectly ascribing liberal sexuality ethics retroactively to the degeneracy of the modern dating world. this would explain much about the confused positions of incels: of course the shy autistic nerds would be harmed by dating apps and so they seek answers and traditionalist sexual ethics offered them an already-available vocabulary!
