I'm currently doing an AI Safety internship where we're carrying out a research study about "multimodal models: usefulness and safety". In this project, we want to analyse how people can directly use language models (and multimodal models in the future) to help them solve everyday tasks. This is conducted by researchers from the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk (CSER), the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI), the University Complutense de Madrid (UCM), the Psychometrics Centre at the Cambridge Judge Business School (JBS) and the Valencian Institute for AI Research (VRAIN-UPV).
