https://typesafe.ai/blog/introducing-system-one-models-and-jev classification model. probably a pretrained language model (according to Claude) which outputs a softmax over allowed ("type safe") option tokens. zero shot. i think you would not want this vs. training your own classifier if you have a dataset, especially if you have numerical data (Jev treats numbers as text!) but there might be situations where it's useful.
https://il0vemilktea.substack.com/p/research-review-aella-girl critique of Aella's stats. basically she had two very different subgroups (Aella followers and a paid sample) that differed widely in their sexual experience and attitudes, and averaged across groups. this can give you Simpson's paradox problems, where the men vs. women, or sex act vs sex act, comparisons you want to make, are actually dominated by the subgroup differences instead.
OP has her own biases (she hates startups, is vaguely anti-capitalist, and despises "positive thinking") but she is an actual statistician and I'd recommend Aella learn from her. maybe even do a collab!
https://www.thenewcritic.com/p/safe-at-slutcon pretty much what I'd expect from a New Critic piece. had an interesting discussion the other day about whether it's a "hit piece." It's really not; what it is, is coming from a literary/journalistic perspective, again more-or-less anticapitalist, and with the sort of ironic/cynical/demoralized and sexually disillusioned perspective i associate with Gen Z's in the arts. Given that cultural starting point, it's quite empathetic.
my first reaction was "this person is just wrong about the things he observes." in my experience, women who are having a good time and want you to continue do not have a flat "dead fish" affect. it seemed more likely that OP is either failing to notice enthusiastic body language, or he's committing a lot of sexual assault.
otoh I'm told there are subcultural differences here and there are some circles where women act profoundly unenthusiastic through the whole process of dating, flirting, through to sex, even though they are secretly interested? sounds like an unkind and unsafe way to go through life. but i suppose it's a big world and such things are possible.

I've typically been comfortable in male-dominated subcultures, but a lot of that is because I don't actually get the negative experiences some women do.
Some women get physically touched and groped a lot, by men who "treat them as a sex object" in the sense of assuming they're dumb and have no value beyond their physical appearance. If that happened to me, I'd hate it too! Nobody likes being disrespected or having their personal space invaded. Sure, some women are unduly squeamish (from my perspective), but some are actually being treated objectively badly.
based on anecdotes, the big risk factor for being demeaned and sexually harassed as a woman in a male-dominated environment is friendliness.
think Elle Woods vs. Vivian in Legally Blonde. they're both pretty, but Elle's clothing and demeanor says "come up and talk to me! i'm fun!" while Vivian's says "leave me alone, I'm busy."
friendly, bubbly women seem a lot more likely to get sexually harassed and assumed to be stupid.
this virtually never happens to me, and not coincidentally I have been told I come across as "intimidating" and have a tendency to be undercommunicative. When I've worked at places that had a bot analyze video calls, I got dinged for swearing too much and having low positive affect in my tone of voice. So...maybe being a surly loner is a lifehack?
