Admins can mark a new version of a post as a "major revision" which allows you to see the history of all major revisions on the post page. For normal posts there isn't currently a way to see the version history, though it's technically accessible through the API and if you have any specific posts, I would be happy to make the version history accessible for that one.

For your own posts, we have some plans for making the version history accessible in the editor, as part of the editor rework.

What’s the curl command to access this via the API? The main use I have in mind, though, is just seeing the latest edit date to know how up-to-date the post is (or how well-maintained, in the case of repository-style posts.)
