I played around with Dalle3 to create a Discord profile picture. The assumption that the picture I created with it isn't my creative expression seems strange.
The LessWrong books all have AI-generated art on the cover. If they instead had stock-images on their cover I don't think that would improve the amount of "creative self-expression" in any practical sense. The ability to generate those images seems to me to allow more creative expression.
