Ingram, MD MSPH, is a retired emergency medicine physician, trained epidemiologist, author, meditation teacher, co-founder of the Dharma Overground, key organizer of the Emergent Phenomenology Research Consortium, and Board Chair and acting CEO of the charity Emergence Benefactors .
