We aim to connect Rationalists from Karlsruhe (Germany) and surrounding areas. We are always happy to get to know new people and new perspectives(!). Please feel free to drop by even if you feel awkward about it, or are not ‘the typical LessWrong / SSC reader'.

Meteoblue predicts awesome weather (~21°C, sunny, high predictability) for Tuesday, so this is the perfect opportunity to have our first regular meetup in person!

We continue to read and discuss this curated collection (The Codex) of posts by Scott Alexander. We want to continue with Argument and Analysis, moving on to The Virtue of Silence and Proving Too Much.

Schedule:

  • Discuss the essays
  • Socializing (+ maybe Hamming Questions)

As the sun already sets at 20:14, we meet at 18:00 in the Schlossgarten (about here 49.014255, 8.404538;  https://goo.gl/maps/JMNnbR5Lh2zDLkFRA). In case of bad weather or an alien invasion, I'll add an update in the comments.
