It seems to be saying that we need to trick our future selves, but doesn't give any tips.

Eh, I always dislike watching (or for that matter reading) short summaries like this, because I keep wanting to say, "Well, no not quiet..." or "It's not as simple as that..." and "But then what should you do...". I guess this isn't a bad way to may be get someone interested in the topic, but you have to be clear that "this isn't all there is, you need to go find more information yourself".

The book and website look interesting from a glance. I googled the video, and it appears that it has been taken down on the book's home site as well.
