Often, podcast hosts will pretend to be uncertain about something so they can ask the guest a particular question. They know how the guest will answer but do this for the listeners benefit.
Dwarkesh, and the new 80K host Tom Reed, do this less, so their interviews seem more authentic and less preachy.
