This looks like it is in Latin. Why?

Google Translate does not appear to help.

This is a standard piece of filler text. Either Postal_Scale conveyed all the information they intended in the title, but was not able to submit a post without a body, or they forgot to add in the actual text before submitting.

Oh. How do you know this? Does the Latin say something that makes it obvious, or is it obvious because it's posted in a language many of us don't know, or is it nonsense, and that's how you know it's just filler?

In other words, why are you less confused that I am?

Lorem ipsum is standard placeholder text.

Thanks!

Anyone who worked as a print or web designer will recognize it instantly. I can recite its first five words from memory. It's just a dummy text you put into your page layouts to visually test them.

I was confused as well and had downvoted because of it. Thanks for explaining.

Enhanced mental focus can help you save time, money, and Hawaii.

Yes. I am getting really tired of some posts appearing in my RSS reader two or three times.

ADDED: While discussing problems, could someone do something about the fact that when I right click on a PDF link and then "Save As", FF tries to save "click.html", rather than the pdf, about a third to half the time.

RSS fundamentally has this problem, because it does not identify posts uniquely, so RSS readers have to guess at what new things are the same as old things. (The URL is usually a sufficient key, but that doesn't work here because LW changes the non-lookup-key "slug" when the post changes.) LW should switch to using the Atom feed format which has a field for unique post identifiers.
