I wish to take whatever action will best bring about what I value.
I wish to become whatever person will most manifest what I value.

There is no virtue in clinging to yesterday’s expectations,
and no vice in hunting what matters.

I can make the best possible choice - and I can do nothing better!
May I seek what is worthy - and nothing else.

The Litany of Might

I strive to take whatever steps may help me best to reach my goals,

I strive to be the very best at what I strive

There is no glory in bygone hopes,

There is no shame in aiming for the win,

there is no choice besides my very best,

to play my top moves and disregard the rest

There is no virtue in clinging to yesterday’s expectations,
and no vice in hunting what matters.

There is some virtue in temporal consistency.

This is in the canon. Genesis 3:5.
