If you have it on your list of things to do, to do a meditation retreat in the future, this is a great opportunity.

On most long meditation retreats you have to cope with religious baggage. On the other hand this mediation retreat will be secular. You will spend your time with fellow rationalists with whom you can afterwards reflect about your shared experience.

*I'm will attend the 10 day version but I'm not the person organizing it

I'll also be attending the full 10 day version. I've only been meditating for a couple of months so the prospect of such a long retreat feels fairly threatening, but looking at the mean outcome, I think it's the correct call.
